RTÉ's The Afternoon Show Classic Model Search at Eyre Square Centre on Thursday 30th October 2008

The Afternoon Show are looking for ladies between 25-50 years of age. There are no height or dress size restrictions and we'd love to meet ladies with the right confidence to make it as a successful commercial model. If it's not you, then maybe it's your mum, your sister, niece, auntie or even your best friend!

The competition will commence with four regional heats, from which, 12 semi-finalists will be chosen by 3 judges. The 12 semi-finalists will take part in challenges and a final 4 will be selected by 3 judges. The overall winner will be selected by The Afternoon Show viewers. The competition will be televised and will receive promotion through press and radio.

The Prize:

The overall winner will receive:
1 year Commercial Modelling Contract with 1st Option Model Agency, Dublin with regular modelling appearances on The Afternoon Show, RTE One
1 year free hairdressing with Gary Kavanagh, Director of Training, Peter Mark

How to Enter:

We would encourage entrants to fill in an application form. Entrants are asked to bring the completed application form plus a recent photograph to their own regional heat.

The Heats:
1. LEINSTER

Tuesday 28th October 2008, 1pm-4pm, Dundrum Shopping Centre, Dublin

2. MUNSTER

Wednesday 29th October 2008, 1pm-4pm, Mahon Point Shopping Centre, Cork

3. CONNACHT

Thursday 30th October 2008, 1pm-4pm, Eyre Square Shopping Centre, Galway

4. ULSTER

Friday 31st October 2008, 1pm-4pm, Victoria Square Shopping Centre, Belfast

The Rules:

. Entrants must be female and between the age of 25-50 years old at the time of entering the competition
. Entrants must not be signed to any model/talent agency at the time of entering
. Entrants must be residents of the Province holding their 'heat' at the time of entering
. The judges will select semi-finalists they deem should attend the semi-final heat
. The selection process is at the discretion of the judges. Their decision is final.
. Entrants must be available for filming during the month of November
